Dear Hiring Manager,

I am applying for the Financial Analyst position at Harborcrest Finance. I am interested in work that connects financial modeling with practical outcomes for the people using a product or service. My experience in finance has prepared me to contribute with both careful analysis and dependable execution.

Built a rolling forecast for six cost centers and reconciled staffing assumptions with finance and department leads. Automated monthly ledger consolidation in Power Query, shortening report preparation from three days to one. These experiences taught me to define success before delivery and to make the reasoning behind a decision visible to colleagues. I kept a training outline to make stakeholder alignment visible to colleagues.

One example I would welcome the opportunity to discuss is my work on forecast accuracy review. Back-tested monthly revenue forecasts against actuals and created assumption logs to distinguish seasonality from changes in customer demand. I would bring this approach to your team: understand the context, test the assumptions, and document what has changed.

I would value a conversation about your priorities for this role and how my experience in Financial modeling, Excel, Power Query could support them. Thank you for considering my application. I am happy to share further details about the work outlined in my resume.
